Join us for our first Creating Green Neighborhoods project ribbon cutting!

Thanks to several grants and sponsorship, we strategically partnered with our neighbors for their community garden, to help support and amplify their efforts in the community. The National Women In Agriculture have been developing locally-grown food to provide for underserved communities. They guide young members of society to sustainable growing, healthy cooking with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Over the course of this spring, we had several work days with over 200 volunteers of all ages contributing over $65,000 of economic value in this space alone!

Mural design was designed and done by local East Wacoan, Vincent Thomas, alongside support from our volunteers.

This project includes grants from Keep Texas Beautiful and H-E-B, Keep America Beautiful and sponsorship from Baylor University Solid Gold Neighbor.
