THE WACO SUSTAINABILITY NETWORK

The Waco Sustainability Network is a diverse group of individuals representing a broad variety of organizations from McLennan County that aims to address sustainability issues in Waco and the surrounding communities.

The Network strives to encourage positive change in all sectors and drive sustainable policy development that will help ensure equity, health, and environmental protection for current and future generations of Texans. Formed in Spring of 2022, the Network collectively decided to hold a conference that would invite the community to join us in inspiring change and moving forward sustainable policies and practices.

The Sustainability Network has been formed by various private and public entities within Central Texas: Baylor University, Cameron Park Zoo, City of Waco, Keep Waco Beautiful, McLennan Community College, National Women in Agriculture, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Urban Reap of Mission Waco, Texas A&M University, and more.
