For over 45 years we have been doing more than keeping our city clean.
Keep Waco Beautiful was established by a group of engaged community members that were dedicated to making Waco a more beautiful place to live.
Every year, thousands of volunteer hours have been contributing to making Waco more beautiful and sustainable place to live.

A CLEANER CITY
Innovation
We are problem solvers at heart, and innovative thinking serves as the key to solving some of the biggest problems that face our community. Our innovative approach inspires as we are seen as the expert for solutions that involve recycling, sustainability, waste diversion and beautification.
Collaboration
We may initiate change, but we rely on the support of our entire community to deliver optimal impact. With a collective impact model in mind, we strategically work with organizations, public and private sectors to fulfill our mission.
Education
In everything we do, we serve as educators. Whether we are working directly with students inside Waco-area schools, leading beautification efforts, working with volunteers or collaborating with other organizations, we are constantly teaching our community the value of keeping our city beautiful.
Beautification
This is our mandate–we tackle opportunities to create beautiful spaces. Whether it’s planting a tree or doing a larger-scaled project like Indian Springs Park, Miss Nellie’s Pretty Place, we find ways to make our city as beautiful as it can be.
Sustainability
By making a difference in the environmental quality of life, we evaluate our impact by metrics provided by our local and national affiliates, to quantify the significant value given to our city through our volunteers and members.
How we implement our values to the city
We work with various organizations, groups, businesses and individuals to further our mission. Every volunteer hour is bringing economic impact to our city.

We strategically collaborate with area partners to create impactful programming that enhances Waco’s beauty, sustainability, and access to recycling.
