Keep Waco Beautiful is launching a month-long community campaign celebrating World Water Day and our Trash Free Brazos initiative. As part of this celebration, we are inviting local youth of all ages to create small art displays (no larger than 2ft x 2ft x 2ft) using upcycled or repurposed materials.
Selected works will be featured at the Waco STEAM Center from 3/20-4/24. Artwork submissions must be created by an individual artist to be eligible. Please submit your artwork proposal here and email alyssa@keepwacobeautiful.org if you have any questions.

Alongside the beautiful upcycled art sculptures submitted by local youth, you can experience and take part in water conservation in Waco, Texas.
MARCH 20: RIVER CLEANUP
River Cleanup: March 20 | 9am-11am at the Waco STEAM Center:
Join us as we kick off to World Water Day and our month-long campaign surrounding water conservation! We will do a shoreline river cleanup at the Waco STEAM Center, volunteers of all ages welcome. Registration is required. Learn more and sign up now!
MARCH 20: EDUCATION FOR ALL AGES
Interactive Event: March 20 | 10am-2pm at the Waco STEAM Center:
Join the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center, Keep Waco Beautiful, and other local organizations as we celebrate and explore Waco’s Brazos River system! After the river cleanup, head to the STEAM Center for hands-on activities and interactive learning for all ages. While you’re there, check out the youth art displays and cast your vote for your favorite!
APRIL 10: RIVER CLEANUP
Trash Dash & Bash:April 10 | 10am-2pm at Brazos Park East:Team building has never been more fun, or impactful! Create a team and compete for prizes at our 4th annual Trash Dash & Bash event! Team registration is required to compete. Learn more!
APRIL 24: CLEANUP
South Waco Library Cleanup: April 24 | 9am-11am: Join us with one of our Adopt-A-Spot partners, South Waco Library, and cleanup nearby streets in South Waco. All ages welcome, all required to wear safety vests - please be aware this location is near traffic, with some areas offering sidewalks.
