YOUTH ARTIST UPCYCLED SCULPTURE DISPLAYS: March 21-April 25, displays across Waco.
Theme: Our Water, Our Future: Creating Beauty from Waste
As part of this celebration, we are inviting local youth of all ages to create small art displays using upcycled or repurposed materials. Selected works will be featured at local libraries, Waco STEAM Center, and various locations throughout the month.
Artists and display locations will be announced soon!

Alongside the beautiful upcycled art sculptures submitted by local youth, you can experience and take part in water conservation in Waco, Texas. Stay tuned on locations to visit these incredible sculptures.
MARCH 21: RIVER CLEANUP
River Cleanup: March 21 | 9am-11am at the Waco STEAM Center:
Join us as we kick off to World Water Day and our month-long campaign surrounding water conservation! We will do a shoreline river cleanup at the Waco STEAM Center, volunteers of all ages welcome. Registration is required. Learn more and sign up now!
APRIL 11: RIVER CLEANUP
Trash Dash & Bash: April 11 | 10am-2pm at Brazos Park East:
Team building has never been more fun, or impactful! Create a team and compete for prizes at our 3rd annual Trash Dash & Bash event! Team registration is required to compete. Learn more!
APRIL 15: Birds near us, who, why and where?
Waco STEAM Center Education Event: April 15 | 1pm-2pm: Central Texas lies in the heart of the Central Flyway, making it a prime spot for birdwatching during spring and fall migrations. Join us to learn about migratory and resident birds of the Waco area, discuss local birding hotspots, and discover how to attract birds to your own yard. We’ll finish with a short birding walk, and binoculars will be provided for those who need them. This workshop is lead by Keep Waco Beautiful’s board member and Master Naturalist, Anna Dunbar.

APRIL 24: TREE PLANTING
Arbor Day Tree Planting at Waco STEAM Center: April 24 | 9am-11am
Join us as we plant native trees at the newly opened Waco STEAM Center. Registration is required, sign up now!
APRIL 25: CLEANUP
South Waco Library Cleanup: April 25 | 9am-11am: Join us with one of our Adopt-A-Spot partners, South Waco Library, and cleanup nearby streets in South Waco. All ages welcome, all required to wear safety vests - please be aware this location is near traffic, with some areas offering sidewalks. This cleanup is part of our Great Waco Cleanup campaign with Keep America Beautiful and Keep Texas Beautiful!
