Keep Waco Beautiful (KWB) has contributed to Waco’s beautification efforts since 1979. We have completed over 20 major service projects that improved the city of Waco. As a nonprofit organization comprised of friends, neighbors, and local businesses we are dedicated to making Waco a great place to work, live and play.

Keep Waco Beautiful was started as the Beautification Committee of Waco. The committee changed its name in the 1980's to Keep Waco Beautiful.  KWB has transformed from a small committee dedicated to beautifying the community to a non-profit organization with over 13,000 volunteers and a plethora of activities.

Litter Reduction

As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Keep Waco Beautiful is dedicated to teaching people to take responsibility for enhancing their community environment through action, education, and involvement. Through the years, KWB has become an award-winning program, taking home the prestigious Governor's Award six times, placing second in the national Keep America Beautiful award, and bringing almost $1 million into the community that was used in beautification efforts.

Our mission is to help make Waco a cleaner, healthier, safer and more beautiful place to live, work and play. We believe that concentrated cleanup, beautification and anti-litter programs develop a feeling of community pride among our fellow Wacoans. Keep Waco Beautiful currently has over 400 members and over 13,000 volunteers.
