Free plant giveaway at Cameron Park Zoo’s Party For The Planet! We will have thrifted vases and free plants for you to take home and enjoy.
MONDAY: April 22, 2024 | Creating Green Neighborhoods family-friendly event
Join us for a family-friendly evening of prepping the mural for the Garrison Street Garden from 5pm-8pm! This event is come and go, we will have pizza for everyone who signs up to volunteers with us! Learn more here.
MONDAY: April 22, 2024 | The Green Business Alliance is celebrating Earth Week with coffee on us!
Enjoy a First-come-first-served for those who order coffees in a reusable cup or “for here” mug. Visit Pinewood and Be Kind anytime on Monday for a free coffee, while supplies last. Ask your barista when you order and they’ll put it on our tab!

The Greenhouse Effect is a natural phenomenon on Earth. It works the same way as garden greenhouses help grow plants. Join Sarah The Scientist to learn why the Greenhouse Effect is both good and bad, and even see it in action! Kids will get hands-on experience in this real-time science experiment demonstration!

Green Communities Conference team is planting trees at Heritage Square in Downtown Waco, to replace trees that we have lost to ice storms.
