Welcome to the 2025 Green Communities Conference Attendee Hub! In this hub you’ll find tools and resources for this year’s conference. Please note: we are trying to be minimal waste as much as possible, bring your own water bottle to refill at the conference. We will have water stations available all day. The convention center tends to run on the cooler side, please be prepared to bring a light jacket!
Check-in to the Green Communities Conference:
Wednesday, September 17 | Tours & Afternoon Sessions: Tour and session check-in located at the Waco Convention Center ground floor, facing Washington Avenue. Tour check-in will be offered for both morning and afternoon tour slots, anyone attending afternoon sessions at the convention center can check-in at this station. All tours must be pre-purchased prior to the conference. Transportation is provided with all tours.
Happy Hour at Balcones Distilling: Early check-in is offered at Balcones Distilling happy hour, from 4pm-6pm.
Thursday, September 18 | Regular Check-In: Check-in is located at the top of the escalators at the Waco Convention Center, just outside of the Brazos Ballroom.
*All speakers, volunteers, and room moderators must check-in at the main registration table first.

Where to grab lunch & dinner in Waco.
As part of Keep Waco Beautiful’s Waco Green Business Alliance Program, we have partnered with local businesses offering specials just for you. Show your badge or conference ticket (digital or printed) to receive discounts at participating locations. On September 18, complimentary coffee, water, and a boba pop-up will be available. Breakfast will also be provided that morning.
All other meals are the responsibility of attendees and must be arranged individually. See the “How-to-Use” guide here!
Happy Hour at Balcones Distilling on September 17, 4pm-5pm
Join us for a happy hour at Balcones Distilling (located at 225 S. 11th Street), complimentary snacks will be offered along with (1) drink ticket. Additional drinks are available for purchase. This happy hour is sponsored by Balcones Distilling. Transportation is not included for the happy hour; attendees must arrange their own.

We are thrilled to have amazing exhibitors who are rooted in resilience in Texas. Stop by the exhibitor hall during the dedicated time slots during the conference, or check them out in between sessions. The exhibitor hall will be staffed during the dedicated time slots of the conference.
See amazing research and projects done by area youth and higher education students. All poster presentations will be staffed with representatives during the Exhibitor Hall time slots.
